Lambda Monitoring
Lambda monitoring evolved in three stages: one sensor at the end of the exhaust, then one for each cylinder group (1/3 and 2/4), and finally one sensor per cylinder.

The first lambda sensor was connected directly to the M800. External LTC-D controllers were adopted for four-cylinder monitoring. Individual measurements reveal differences between cylinders.
